Your Data. Your Rights.

Most epigenetic testing companies keep your raw data locked away. But you paid for it - and you have the right to access it.

Request Your IDAT Files

Contact your testing provider and request your raw IDAT files. Under GDPR and many US state laws, they must provide them.

Gold Standard

Why GrimAge?

GrimAge is widely considered the gold standard in epigenetic age testing. Developed by Dr. Steve Horvath's lab at UCLA, it predicts mortality and disease risk better than any other biological age measure.

Best Mortality Predictor

Outperforms all other epigenetic clocks in predicting time to death and healthspan

Disease Risk Assessment

Predicts cardiovascular disease, cancer, and cognitive decline

Responds to Interventions

Sensitive to lifestyle changes like diet, exercise, and sleep

3,000+ Citations

The most validated and cited epigenetic clock in research

GrimAge Components

GrimAge is a composite clock that incorporates plasma protein surrogates:

ADM
Adrenomedullin
B2M
Beta-2 Microglobulin
Cystatin C

Frequently Asked Questions

What are IDAT files?

IDAT files are the raw output from Illumina methylation arrays. They contain the fluorescence intensity data from both the green and red channels. You need both files (Grn.idat and Red.idat) to run an analysis.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use enterprise-grade encryption and secure data handling. Your files are processed in isolated containers and can be deleted at any time. We never share your data with third parties.

Why do you need my sex and DOB?

GrimAge calculation requires chronological age (from DOB) and biological sex for accurate calibration. Without these, the algorithm cannot produce valid results.

What if my provider won't give me my data?

Under GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and similar laws, you have the right to your health data. If a provider refuses, you can file a complaint with your local data protection authority. Most providers comply within days when you cite these regulations.

What's the difference between GrimAge and GrimAge2?

GrimAge2 is the updated version with improved predictive accuracy. Our platform calculates both versions so you can track using whichever your provider uses for comparison.
